for five years BJ has toured the world as the drummer with Cirque du Soleils critically acclaimed show Quidam. from late 2000 until 2005 he was the driving force behind the music and the show. his playing style is described by many as "intense" and extremely focused. yet after 1,750 shows he realized that he needed new challenges and wanted to focus on other projects and styles of music. while on tour he met many people who asked him to contribute to their music and he did whenever time would allow it. now he has made this into his full time mission. a very sought after session musician he now travels the world and records other peoples music in canada, the us, england, germany, belgium, sweden, holland and many other countries. simultaneously he is currently working on some solo projects that will not follow in the known and much repeated pattern of the typical drummer-album. he is looking to push boundaries and conceive true art. he is very interested in the essence of music and art and in the combination of different art forms like music, painting, writing, etc. into one homogenous collaboration. there is much to be expected in the near future.
