The young Power metal band Dawn of Destiny is founded in March 2005. Five ambitious musicians Tanja Maul (voc.), Jens Faber (guit/ bass), Dirk Raczkiewicz (keys.), Veith Offenbächer (guitar) und Ansgar Ludwig (drums) who have made their experiences in former bands and projects step on a new path of traditional power metal containing influences of even death and thrash metal. Energical and precise riffing form a contrast to the melodic chorus dominated by the opera-like voice of Tanja.
The band has played more than twenty gigs each year, for example supporting Sabaton on their Attero Dominatus Tour in the sold out Duisburger "Parkhaus" or headlining several festivals like the Dragonslayer Festival, the Sommernachtstrauma or the University Feast in Munich with 5000 people.
After recording a demo tape in 2006 several labels contacted Dawn Of Destiny and the band decided to sign a contract with Shark Records (Stratovarius, Doro, Sepultura...).
In October 2006 Dawn Of Destiny recorded their debut album "begins" in the well known Woodhouse Studio in Hagen/ Germany, mixed by Siggi Bemm! This album has been released in August 2007.
