A misplaced valley-girl who was once bronzed by the sunny beaches of Southern California, is now serving a LIFE sentence in the land of the "mundane" & ridiculously
"out-moded".
I'm a California tree-hugging, flowerchild & hippie.
I toil in the workforce as a geek in the computer world.
I babysit servers, databases, atms, circuits. I troubleshoot different flavor scripts [mostly UNIX]... a "squire" if you you will, and aspire to write them soon.
I am somewhat vain & conceited
[yet not overbearingly so], but only on the "inside".
Why? For reasons even I can't imagine, lol.
Still, I hold my head up and smile.
Of course, I am dawning my Ray Ban's, my "Doc Marten's" and my "pod" jammed full of tunes.
Then, I flash my "peace" sign...
all while living amongst ultra conservatives making me a walking enigma...
a paradox even!~

My Interests

I'd like to meet:



I like people that are intuitive: capable of individual thought, intelligent, or at least able to carry themselves in such a manner. Quick-witted: able to turn a "situation" into "simple as pie" in a snap!~ Humble: "knowing" that what they do, say, think, and feel is RIGHT for THEM without having the need or to ask for validation
...and everyone around them knows it.

Granted, I am no scholar - one will not find scrolling degrees listed, lists of books read, yet my interests are vast...

I know "what" I know. One will not find any given "stance" or opinion, yet I do care: education, environment, today's youth, and
YES, world peace.

One will not find any given school of religion listed, yet I do believe in something "greater" than myself... someone other than myself.

Some days bring happiness, other days, deep sadness, yet

I continue to live my life - a life of my choosing: traveling forward... not over, through, or under others -

in a direction of my own design.

To state "definitively" a specific "type" of person "I'd like to meet" meeting: *shrug... ever changing I suppose. Some days I am receptive, entusiastic, and welcoming of most anyone and any thing. Other days, I go out and about conducting only that which "must" be done, ducking most everything behind my Ray Bans. Are these tendencies of "Yin", "Yang",
"Libra", "Aries", or "The Year of The Rat"
I don't know.

The person I most enjoy meeting and getting to know is one that makes my head spin in thought... this person touches my heart. This person is not a drone, not a "pod-person". This person is true to others & self.

I am changable, complex, simple, genuine, true. I am most enthralled by the same in others. And, believe it or not,
I have met a few. They feed my head, they fill my heart. They make me laugh all over. They make me smile on the inside. I'd like to think that others enjoy the same in me. Those few that I have had privilege of meeting... having qualities as I have described... have been, still are, and always will be a part of my life.

I hope to run across a few more. :)
