i think i'm still a midwesterner at heart...grew up in a small town with lots of cows and corn and still must be outside a good portion of the day...i will never, under any circumstances, work in an office or cubicle with florescent lighting and can't imagine having a job that feels like a job.I love hiking, camping, snorkelling, spellunking, buying thrifty bargain wear, sitting in front of fires, and picking wildflowers. If I had all the money in the world, I'd be on a fantastic adventure in some other part of the world... I try to travel as much as possible (japan, kenya, israel, mexico, england, tanzania, france, spain, netherlands). I'm definately looking forward to 50...when i've gained loads of wisdom, am totally comfortable in my skin, and am still young enough to keep moving.
... grandmother on dad's side who i'm supposedly spitting image of...the wealthy, widowed woman who loves the arts and becomes inspired to financially support my dance endeavors for as long as i live... anyone who enjoys life.. width="425" height="350" ..

i think steinbeck is a genius. roald dahl stuff is great, especially his short stories. i also love shel silverstein, barbara kingsolver, and emily bronte. the other boleyn girl, harry potter, the mysterious incident of the dog in the nightime. i like perspectives, so anything written from a unique angle.
