I am a singer/songwriter who plays a contemporary folk style with attention on vocals and guitar style that is percussive and connected to the lyrics. With Inspiration gleamed from Bruce Springsteen's raw truth , John Denvers's tenderness, Madonna's edge, Billy Joels lyrics and Nanci Griffins's voice, my songs visit modern stories of spirituality and relationships. Playing many local venues in Boulder and Denver over the past 10 years , i enjoy a performance style that is interactive and connected to the audience
i grew up in a little house with a large front yard that sits between two large trees. In that front yard was a little brick fire ring were my family would sit
singing and laughing. Oh we would sing Bob Dylan's "Blowing in the Wind", almost any John Denver tune and "Rock My Soul". That house still sits there
- the fire ring- i'm sure has been taken down; but in my heart that fire ring, the laughing, and the singing are alive as could be. This is were i learned the power of music.

What inspires me most about playing and listening to music is the expression of the heart; Pouring oneself into the song and surrendering to
something greater. After a show one evening a man handed me a dollar bill
and on it was some beautiful lettering reading "Passion Folk". How sweet it was to be seen that way.
