Starting with her first ballet slipper and tap shoe at the age of 4, her exposure to the dance world guided her into a rich background in theater, dance, martial arts and music. Her mother always supported her in extracurricular activities from, Jazz dance to violin, soccer, and piano, hip-hop dance and theater; she was always doing something she loved. In the summer she was always enrolled in theater camp and at 12 years old she went to clown camp where she acted, danced, walked on stilts and danced on the Spanish rope. She co-wrote, produced and choreographed a multi-media production with Destiny Arts Center that was performed throughout California. She’s taught dance to 7-12 year-olds at that center, as well as broadcast journalism to youth ages 9-21 at Youth Radio. She also taught broadcast journalism to incarcerated youth at Camp Sweeny in San Leandro, and inner city Latina’s in the Mission District of San Francisco. At the age of 17, her friends and her wrote for a $5000.00 grant to start they’re own company and they put on their own production at Holy Names College in Oakland. She was in a film about body image that is now shown nationally throughout the school system. Her passions for Media Art as well as musical development had only begun to flourish through her position as a production assistant at Youth Radio based in Berkeley. She hosted her own morning show on Saturday mornings at KPFA radio in Berkeley. She is now currently living in Hollywood where she is attending UCLA as a full time student in Cultural Studies and Performing Arts. With all of her accomplishments she has the grace of Marilyn Monroe, the intelligence of Mae West and the spunk of Teena Maria. Though she has her personal battles, she fights for her rights to party. Singer/entertainer/dancer, she is elegant, witty, sexy and got smarts.
