I would like to meet interesting, intelligent, and cool people on myspace.
About me DJ ILPAPA is currently a Chicago DJ and employee of Crawford Broadcastings Power 92 and Soul 106.3, a popular urban station among Chicago listeners, was host of WKKC-89.3 FMs legendary Rap House program that was started by the late Pink House. IL Papa entertained fans each week with Co-Hosts Chi Blizz (current host on Power 92) and Donnie (Hot tub Donnie) Dubois. Candace (known as The Candy Girl aka Yuccas Momma to the Rap House Fan base) was their Entertainment Announcer. IL Papa: My career goal is to become one of the worlds top promoters. I want to do events for all on all different scales. I never grew up with role models but radio Djs like Doug Banks, Pink House and Tom Joyner really made me decide to go back to school as an adult and take a chance at something I always wanted to do. My current positioned for Dontron Inc. (formerly known as Crawford Broadcasting Co.) as producer has helped me to meet and learn a lot about the entertainment world. Ive been with Dontron Inc for approximately 5 years. I was hired as a board op. for the gospel station WYCA and was given an opportunity to move over to the secular stations after proving my love for what I do. Currently Im working with some friends that I met at Kennedy King College when I was a student there on promoting some events through the Chicago land area. My hobbies consist of playing video games, mixing music, movies and whatever else I can find to entertain myself. My biggest concern with the youth of today is that they have no respect for themselves or the people they come in contact with. Respect is taught in your early years by your parents or grandparents and it stays with you for the rest of your life. The youth today are not being taught this and thats why many teens are out selling themselves short. We are a society that has given up on the youth instead of trying leading them the right way but it must start at home.
