About Me

Hello, Is there anybody in there?Just nod if you can hear me –Is there anyone at home?Come on now –I hear you're feeling down.I can ease your pain and get you on your feet again.- Relax I'll need some information. - - First Just the basic facts. - - Can you show me where it hurts? - - Now there is no pain, you are receding. - - A distant ship - smoke on the horizon. - - You are coming through in waves. - - Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying. - - When I was a child I had a fever. - - My hands felt just like two balloons. - - Now I’ve got that feeling once again. - - I can’t explain, you would not understand. - - This is not how I am. - - I have become comfortably numb. - - O.K. Just a little pin prick There'll be no more aaaaaaaah! - - But you may feel a little sick. - - Can you stand up? - - I do believe its working, good. - - That’ll keep you going through the show. - - Come on its time to go. - - There is no pain. - - You are receding. - - A distant ship. - - Smoke on the horizon. - - You are only coming through in waves. - - Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying. - - When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse out of the corner of my eye- - I turned to look but it was gone. - - I cannot put my finger on it now. - - The child is grown. - - The dream is gone and I have become comfortably numb. - - How I wish, how I wish you were here. - - We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year.- Running over the same old ground.- What have you found?- The same old fears.- Wish you were here.Pink Floyd-

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Everybody seems to list a bunch of dead people. I don't want to meet any dead people. Dead people scare me - I don't want to see dead people!! Now when I get to the pearly gates I can meet all of those 'spirits' like me who didn't have much fun and chose the 'rewards in heaven' over the 'here and now, live for today!' We'll be the boring ones over in the corner...Now as far as meeting live people - my only goal there would be someone I could learn from - I'm not a groupie or a follower, I am a Seeker. I'm sure I could learn something from people like Warren Buffet and Branson but I'm also equally sure that I could learn something from a 90 year old African-American woman who spent her life in housekeeping or a child from Darfur. Maybe Billy Graham could give me a lesson or two as well on learning from your mistakes when you put your faith in people. Since John Paul and Mother Theresa are singing with the angels, I can't meet them right now, but the Dalai Lama I'm sure could teach me much. - And - Someone that actually likes my poetry
