DRAG'EM OUT RECORDS
HOTTEST SHIT 2 EVA HIT DA STREETS OF ATX
Drag'em Out Records started back in 1997 by Johnny "DADDY LEE" Johnson. Accompanied by his older brother, Troy "TROUBLEMAN" Johnson, they were always discovering ways to keep the lable popping. With the two best artist in the city signed to the lable, they were destined to hit big and take over the rap game.
Baby Ju and Mike-Mike, whom were also a duo called Southern Strangerz, was young, talented, street rappers. Though street backgrounds were very similar, thier style and creativity style was totally different. With no studio of thier own, Johnny and Troy hustled to make money for studio-time. With thier oldest artist, Mike-Mike, battling personal problems, in and out of jail, and always coming up M.I.A, Baby Ju was forced to perfect his craft and carry the lable.
In 1999, Johnny was arrested and sent to jail on dope charges. 3 months later, Troy was arrested and sent to jail on the same charges. The lable was slowly falling apart. Mike-Mike, then relocated to Alabama. Baby Ju stayed and connected with his older brother, Soulja-T, to form a group called N.O.B(New Orleans Boyz) and keep the lable standing for about a year before Baby Ju moved back home to New Orleans.
In 2001, everybody went thier seperate ways and did their own thang, but kept in touch. By that time, Baby Ju was signed to a lable in Texas, Mike-Mike was signed to a lable in Alabama, Soulja-T was internationally known and Johnny was incarcerated. In 2006, Baby Ju and Soulja-T resurfaced the lable and signed three more artist: T. FLAMES, B-LOW and LIL CIZZLE. With everything in position, DRAG'EM OUT RECORDS is definitly ready to hit the rap game by surprise.
