My interests are pretty diverse. I love music of all types (except rap). Everything from Hank Williams Sr., to James Taylor, to Guns and Roses, to Bob Seger, to George Strait to the Beach Boys. I also love sports of all types especially softball and basketball. I am not as active as I once was but who is. I also like to read and write...lately I have found myself liking to write poetry more. I also enjoy shooting. My Father and I got into this as a hobby a few years back and now I am addicted...great stress relief.
I'd like to meet:
There are a couple of people I would like to have known. One would be my great-grandfather. He died before my grandfather was born. I have heard stories that he was a great man. I would also love to meet my grandfather's brother and sister. They both died before I was born but growing up I could see through what my Pa told me that they were great people. I will see them someday when I die but til then there are very few people on this earth I really care about meeting. I don't put much faith in the folks in Hollywood or Washington or anywhere for that matter but if I had to choose a coupke I guess they would be Peyton Manning, maybe George Strait, and possibly Mia Hamm.

Music:
Like I said I love music. Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed music...it provides an escape through silly songs that make you smile or real tear jerkers that touch your heart. My favorite song is probably Bob Seger's Against the Wind. Those lyrics have a lot of truth in them. But as far as a new song that has made me take notice is Life Aint' Always Beautiful But Its A Beautiful Ride, by Garry Allen. My friends will all agree that there is no telling what will be playing on my stereo at any given time my music style changes quicker than you can bat your eye or a commercial can come on.

This sounds very corney but I love the book Where the Red Fern Grows. I had to read it when I was a child but fell in love with it. I also enjoyed The Client and The Summons by John Grisham. And anything by Dean Koontz. And any other sci-fi book that is not so far fetched that I can't imagine it.
