Alyssa

-My name is Alyssa... Not Alicia (I hate when people mispronounce it). My middle name is Rosanne, and the only person who can call me that is my mom (but she calls me "Rosanna more often). Once upon a time I was in love with Tom Petty and believed that I was going to marry Elvis. I once fell so in love that I dreamed of a white wedding on a warm spring day. I bite my nails a lot, and I can't seem to stop. I write with my right hand and move my hair with my left. I hate speaking in front of large groups. I have two beautiful sisters, who I'd be lost without and a brother in-law that I've come to love and talk to! I am a first time aunt to a beautiful baby girl, who has half moon shaped eyes when she smiles. Football, UFC and recently PBR have become my favorite sports to watch!
I have a daughter, who I love more than life itself. If I have let you meet her then you know that you are special to me. I call her Bellaphant. She can light up the day with just the smile on her face.
I'm a Native New Mexican, and love it here. I feel like the country is the best place to have a family. When I was in high school my boyfriend and I would sneak to look at the stars. The most beautiful sunset is a New Mexico one. I am a Native American and I am very proud of it. I come from strong Native women. My Mom taught me to be strong, and my Dad taught me how to forgive. Angel teaches me to laugh, and Beth taught me to never give up. I breath in every minute of every day and I thankful for what I have. Every day is a new lesson learned. With every day that passes, I know that the next will be better-And even if it’s not, then I'm okay with that.
I am who I am and nothing more. I laugh at silly jokes and funny people, I cry when I hear a certain song, I smile, almost all day long (even when I’m by myself). I don't like being "rude" but I will, and can be. I can love with everything I have, but I'll never hate anyone. I don't try to be "ditzy" but more than likely that's the Alyssa you’re going to get. I'm thankful for the people I know, and love. I believe that a person will not change unless they want to, and no matter how much you try it's up to them...
