About Me

My purpose in writing the music for the album SACRED was to bring together some of the most spiritual elements in the world. To me, this was Gregorian chant and Native American chant. An unusual pairing, but the result was deeply moving and spiritual for me.
My hope in writing the music for my newest album, KINDRED, was to express and demonstrate how we are all much more connected than we may even realize. This album features beautiful chants from all over the world woven with modern grooves and ethereal sounds. Vocals draw upon Celtic, Native American, Gregorian, & Indian traditions.
I have been blessed to receive so much support from listeners and the following awards: "Best New Age Album of the Year" -- COVR Awards. "2nd place for Best World Album" by Backroads. I deeply appreciate all of you.
I hope you will join me in my journey -- to raise consciousness, to seek peace, to collaborate, to exercise positive thinking, and to encourage all to pursue their dreams.
Excerpts from Reviews:
"Wood blends ancient Gregorian and native American voices with modern textures / accompaniments, resulting in emotionally moving music unlike any other. Graceful, joyous, peaceful and wise." -- Thomas Stewart
"Evoking images of trascendance and worship. Nice Job! Highly recommended. The beat is hypnotic. I am putting together some of the songs with video clips for my own personal spiritual enjoyment." -- Vince Migliore
"I was so pleased with the music I heard on this cd. I have shared it with others and they also were taken by it. I've collected many spiritual, world and New Age music, but I've never heard anything like this." -- C. Mackler
"Like a kaleidoscope producing an ever-changing combination of patterns and colors, Kevin's layering of voices, instruments and "beat" makes the music sound fresh and new every time you listen. His knitting of Native American voices, Gregorian chant, electronica, wind instruments, and even echoes of the English choral tradition evokes an all-inclusive spirituality with an underpinning of anticipation and exhilaration. A real masterpiece!" -- Byron Flateland
