Matt Durrah:Media Composer

Matt D. was brought up in a very musical family. Most of Matt's relatives play multiple instruments. Matt began by learning the guitar when he was a teenager. Not being content with his musical knowledge he began to study the use of modes and scales. This added a unique sound to his rock and pop writing. Never wanting to cease his musical development; Matt began his college life and began his study of music theory. It was there that he really developed his respect for Bach and other sacred composers. Matt also found a new love in film music which has controlled his focus for much of the last few years. He currantly lives in Greenville SC, USA with his wonderful wife and two children. Matt D is continuing to add new styles to his abilities and is never afraid of a new challange.
