I'd Like To Be In An Octopus' Garden. [Roleplay; Original Ringo] Names Richard Starkey. I was born in Liverpool, England. When I was younger I refused to wear a rain coat out in a thunder storm and was stricken with illness. I spent most of my childhood in a hospital. I was always prone to any little cold floating around. Somewhere about the time I got out, my aunt and cousin came to live with us. Me and Laurie, my cousin, became very close. As a grew older, my mom got upset with me when drumming on random things. So, for Christmas I got a drum kit. That just annoyed her even more. Being behind in my studies I quit school, even with the help from Laurie I didn't succeed. Soon enough I joined the band Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. It wasn't long after that I changed my name to Ringo Starr. Starr was short for my last name and Laurie called me Ring because of my constant apparal for rings. Eventually I added the O at the end. When the Beatles had fired their drummer Pete Best, they soon hired me on. [Under Co]
