About Me

I never know what to put in things like this. If you already know me then you know I am pretty fun to be around. If you don't know me, so sorry! ;) My life is pretty normal with a loving hubby, 2 kids, a dog, 2 cats and 3 fish (one of which is HUGE!). We are homebodies a lot but love to spend time with friends. I stay home with my young children and try to teach them to be people I would want to be friends with, though both of them will be in school soon and then I need to go back into the work force. Both scary and exhilerating since it has been over 6 years since I worked outside the home. No idea what I want to do either!

I'm a rocker! Classic rock, 80's rock, guitar rock, metal all good! I also love Celtic music with a particular affection for Brother (www.brothermusic.com)

Movies:

Comedies are my favorites to watch from home or if I go out I would prefer to see the high tech blockbusters. I also love a bunch of really bad movies like Ford Fairlane, Bring It On, Hudson Hawk...they are so great for quoting! I also love musicals and classics but I can get into most movies. Suspension of disbelief is the key!And then there is.....Clerks 2!!This is the red band (uncensored) trailer, you have been warned! .. width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

Hmmm current favs are HEROES, Drive, Entourage, Veronica Mars and Grey's Anatomy, Psych, Ugly Betty and many more. I get sucked into American Idol every year and never pick the winner, but always the runner up lol. Well except for the first year, no contest. Plus have to love Robot Chicken :p

Books:

Love them! Some current favorite authors are Anne Bishop, Diana Gabaldon, Laurell K Hamilton, Janet Evanovich. Some authors I love and reread are Edgar Rice Burroughs, JRR Tolkien, Niven/Pournelle. Wow I started life with male authors and now moved to female. I reread the early stuff often but I think many of today's male fantasy authors get too caught up in how many words they use (you know who you are Robert Jordan). The classics are ageless and always worth an annual reread!
