I have never met a stranger. I really love my job for I get to meet lots of people. I have owned my business since 1996.
I have three children, Robert, Mitch, Kathi, three step children Rodney, Melanie and Clint.
I am a very big animal lover. I can never say no to a stray that happens by for dinner. It is almost like I have a very large sign posted somewhere that the strays can read........................................................ .....................
Guess that is why I now have 13 cats and four dogs. All of who is either neutered or spayed. Also added to this family of animals are 2 bunnies, 2 parakeets, 4 guineas, 15 ringneck doves, Bud the Parrot and six donkeys, all are loved and yes we live on a farm or maybe I should say Zoo.
I would rather be outdoors then in. I love gardening, when I am outside in my gardens, I am more at peace than anytime. Plants don't talk back, they just listen.
Next to gardening is my second love, genealogy. I started my family tree in 1985, I now have over 2500 family members in it.
And then there is my love of cards, Texas Hold'em is one of my favorite cards game now. My father taught me to play poker when I was quite young. How I remember all the family poker games. When my father, who I dearly miss, was alive we use to have a family poker game at least once or twice a week. You gotta "Know when to hold’em, know when to fold’em."
I like to write poetry when the mood hits me, which hasn't happen in a very, very, very long time
