Sharon Hassan & One Fine Day

I am a fiddle player from the fine burgh of Insch in Aberdeenshire. I have a couple of bands - Hoolichan (providing music for ceilidh action!) and One Fine Day (for any other musical adventures!).I used to play with the very fine trad band 'Dochas' and did a lot of touring about with them. I have also played with my own bands in Italy, France, Norway and Sweden and am back out and about gigging after a 2 year break doing lots of other music-y things.I also play bass guitar and a bit of piano, mandolin, guitar, whistle, pipes, general percussion and have recently taken up the glockenspiel (inspired by the fabulous playing of Shona Mooney!). I play the accordion very badly but well enough to entertain a group of 8 year olds for a considerable amount of time!Have fiddle, will travel is my current motto after a couple of years of life commuting to and from the office so going to be back out and about hopefully at a venue near you really soon!So, if you are around pleez do come and play some tunes and say hallo!Sharon x
