i can make a mess like nobody's business, but i always find a way to clean it up.
i sleep very little. i read often, but not enough. i think far too much. i sing almost always. and write almost as much as i sing. music is like air. i have to have it. which is why im pretty sure i know what i want to do with the rest of my life.

i live in fear&faith. im a struggling christian. i truly love the people in my life and those i meet along the way. my friends&family are AMAZING. its nice to have people who love/believe in you when you sometimes cant believe in yourself. ive met some of my favorite people at shows/on the road & traveling makes being stuck in suburbia somewhat bareable. i like getting tattooed and taking pictures of your/my favorite bands.

im obsessed with hoodies-even though its never really cold in louisiana. some of my vices: green tea w/citrus, vitamin water, and granola cereal.
life is about experiences. i live for the present, but ive always believed that setting goals and following your dreams is an essential part of happiness and personal growth.
all in all, im a work in progress. learning something from everything and everyone around me.

to overcome your doubt, believe you are beautiful. look at yourself through someone elses green eyes. believe someone out there will find you and kiss your skin until you can feel it blister with the heat. believe in something bigger than your problems and you will be saved. look up at the beautiful "melon sky," it will answer all your questions. it will unite us against the machine. my best friend taught me the best way to battle the machine is to ignore it. ignore the obnoxious hipsters. ignore those who will put you in a box because of what country you were spat out of. ignore the judgemental indie rockers. ignore the trenchoat mafia. ignore the right wing fanatics. ignore anyone who rubs you the wrong way. ignore me if you need to, but dont ignore love. it's what i am fighting for. -Max Bemis

im ok if you forget everything you read about me on this page, but please remember these causes. because contrary to popular belief,there are more important things in life outside of the internet&myspace.
about 5 years ago, i lost an amazing friend to suicide. rescue is possible thanks to organizations like this one.
cancer has affected us all in some way whether it was dierctly or indirectly. this story gives me hope.
