My Interests

Science (robots, monkeys, experiments, chemicals and other physical things, as well as things too small to be seen with the naked eye or two large to be comprehended with the naked brain). Using my body to ascend rock-surfaces. Reading and writing words. Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism, as well as Judaism and Christianity and Islam. Computers. Art painting (line is form--shout out to kristinowitz), sculpture, conceptual (shout out to dad).

hip hop (common, the roots, juggaknots, haiku d'etat, black star, neptunes shit, dr. octogon, outkast, loot pack, MF DOOM, etc. etc.). indy rock (spoon, franz ferdinand, yo la tengo, rogue wave, wolf parade, the shinns, mark philips--aka sono oto, etc. etc.). classical (esp. solo piano and violin). jazz (esp. bebop - not so much big band or free). blues (delta). metalcore. dub (rhythm and sound - check that shit out). opera (whatever lp used to sing). world music (some celtic shizz, indian classical for real).

Movies:

Whatever you like. Especially if you like Rushmore and other Wes Anderson movies, the Big Lebowski and other Cohen Brothers movies, bad action movies (like anything staring Van Damage, etc.), Kung-Fu movies, Wong Kar Wei movies, Akira Kurasowa movies, Josh Lowell climbing movies, Jacob's Ladder, Alphaville, I Heart Huckabees, etc.

Television:

Don't watch it no mo.

Books:

Moby Dick. Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. Labyrinths (Borges). Foucault's Pendulum. Brothers Karamazov. If On A Winter's Night A Traveler. Lolita. Godel, Escher, Bach. Botany of Desire. And much, much more.

St. Louis... not a bad town
