Deserie Johnson AKA Sanjo Jendayi was born and raised in Washington, DC and she now resides in MD. She is the proud parent of two beautiful children. She is a motivational speaker, author and poetress. Readers and listeners alike are mesmerized, challenged and inspired by her unique way of speaking directly into their soul. She merges her street edge with her spiritual grounding leaving everyone on the verge of change. Deserie has lectured or conducted seminars for DC Public Schools, several colleges, Concerned Black Men, Independent Schools, Comprehensive Health Department, The Department of Justice, Do The Write Thing Foundation, MultiCultural Youth Organization, Inc., For Sisters Only Event, The Black Family Reunion and The Black Love Festival. Deserie was also the official radio/t.v. voice-over representative for a local clothing chain.
