The Starberks

About Me

The Starberks are two very silly people who couldn't control themselves. Well it's better than killing people is it not.
The Starberks were, in the beginning, a package of tin-foil-fresh-wrapped trash pop, with seasoning of course. This was in 2002 where their first album was concieved and given birth to: Shambollic, The Album.
They left each other only to reconcile 18 months later to make the follow up at the end of 2004: Why Though That There This is...What?
After that they thought they would go 'Concept' maaan and produce the electronic(ish) depressive album in 2005: Smoking Kills.
Then they had a month off 'Concept' maaan and made a mini album in 2005: Graff Spree's Music Month.
From that Indie Punk Pop was the cry and so the mini album in 2005: Graff Spree's Tornado.
Berk A tends to play guitar mostly, sometimes bass, programming of weird sounds and sings with a female voice.
Berk B tends to play live drums, drum machine, bass, and sings in boys voice.
The Starberks have only ever played live twice and were met with a terrible reaction. We were deemed too close to the bone punk for venues which made us feel so cool that we froze. Eat your heart out Malcom Mclaren and The Sex Pistols! I am sure you will agree that like the Bill Grundy fiasco with The Sex Pistols swearing on live British TV, that there is nothing at all frightening about these...well...berks!
If you should so like to buy these albums you will be able to shortly once i have sorted the stuff that needs sorting! Watch out! Till then enjoy the player thing at the top of the page.
