About Me

Used to be a paralegal, but chose passion over wealth...sometimes I question that decision when I'm working 7 days a week and still can't afford a couch. Worked for the Kerry '04 campaign, traveling the country, working with the press. Worked as a consultant for the DNC, with Military Moms With a Mission. Worked as a campaign manager and stopped some dirty housing developers who spent millions of dollars against us. Recently finished work with a nonprofit group and am in between gigs---though I just turned down a position managing a Congressional campaign in VA 'cause it paid even less than Unemployment! As you can tell, work is my life...but I'm trying to learn balance...I'm not good at it, it's why I'm always single.I'm a social butterfly with loner tendencies. Love spontaneous road trips, all by my lonesome.....then I usually end up in a strange bar, swapping stories with locals. Some of my happiest moments have been in the company of strangers, chatting about politics, downing some whiskey. Want to see the world, but I'm starting with our country first; have lived in 5 states, have spent time in 30. I'm a California girl, through and through, but spent 2006 as a Hoosier and 2007 as a Northwestie girl. 2008? Might stay here a spell to work on the health care issue. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who are passionate about something. Do you care about politics? World affairs? Art? Music? Are you willing to put it all on the line and risk losing everything, just so you can live on the edge and realize your dreams? Then we should meet! Do you really dig random conversations with strangers while waiting in line somewhere? Do you have bittersweet memories of having your heartstrings tugged at while talking politics with homeless veterans? Yeah? Or workers who've lost their jobs due to outsourcing? Me too! So we've just gotta meet!height="350">....
