We have been playing and writing music for well over 10 years, as far as we can remember, listening to Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Kiss, Dio (and the monster guitar work and riffs of Tony Iommi). We knew where we were heading.With 3 of my best mates: George, Daniel, Vuggs plus myself, we started a band called "Raptor" and over 7 years we made a 4 track EP and played a heap of gigs. Our music was heavy rock.Then 'Riffmaster' (Sam) and "Bassmaster" (George) thought - let's start a fresh look for the band and change the name to "SACRED". That's when we found Joyce for vocals. As soon as she came in the band we where blown away with her style, melodies and of course her strong voice.Soon we found "Rockstar" - the right drummer (which blew us away). His hard-hitting, hard rock edge gave the music a new lease of life.Teaming up with "Joyce The Voice" and 'Rockstar' the band had found it's style, attitude and rock sound that we where looking for. "SACRED" - THE BAND WAS SET.We had material from "Raptor" and we brought this into this new band "SACRED". We kept everything we had and changed some lyrics and melodies but the guitar riffs and bass work are still the same.Late 2007 we went in to 'Strawberry Fields' recording studio to record 5 original tracks. With 3 intense days of hard work we finally finished our EP (self funded). The artwork is fantastic, thanks to Dom. OUR EP IS AVAILABLE NOW!!!
