Band Members: Hello my name is: JPZ Ceo/ Founder of Takeflight Entertainment. I have been promoting San Jose' artist for the past 3 going on 4 years. I have my own project I'm coming out with. I am putting together a Cultural Based CD that would incorporate a Chicano/ Azteca theme flavored with Hip Hop. The tittle of the CD will be HISTORIA DE SAN JOSE'... From it's introduction to it's finale, it will portray a somtimes forgotten history of "our" people. Starting with the days of the Azteca's to the birth of Mejico, from there the journey will take you to an underdeveloped San Jose', from it's early establishment, into the middle, and present time. My focus for this CD is not only to make an impact on the Music Industry that is in San Jose', it is also to tell the forgotten story of many before us. With the permission of the "Chavez " family, there will be a song not only dedicated to but also inspired by the man who was "Cesar Chavez". Dolores Huerta Co- Founder of the United Farm Workers union will also say a few words on the CD. Distribution will occur all in the same week to every Middle/ High School and College in the San Jose' area. The project release date is for the "Cinco de Mayo 2010". Prior to the release date, with the help of many people, including the "Cesar Chavez" family, my goal is to pre- sell 5,000 copies at $5.00 ea. The price of the CD would then rise to $10.00 after it's initial release. Special Guest: Rudy Chavez Medina, Dolores Huerta, Malo, Lead singer of Mystique and more to be announced....
