Improv comedy interests us quite a bit. In fact, comedy in general. We've been making Utah laugh since 1994. Longer if you count the factthat many of us were cracking people up long before that. Hopefully, no one got hurt in those early days. And so far, there have been a minimal of lawsuits in the professional comedy arena. Whew! Dodged that one. Especially when Ben's teeth went through his lip. Or when Russ hit Clarence in the face with a chair. Or my personal favorite, when Paul decided to attempt a backflip for the first time in his life and nearly killed himself. Good times. Good times.
I'd like to meet:
This the full pilot episode, and is nearly 25 minutes long. It's gonna take awhile to fully load. You can always hit play to start it loading, then hit pause and come back in a minute or two.
This was the pilot episode for our beloved television show, "Laughing Stock TV". It ran for 16 weeks in early 2005. Our ratings were good, but we were poor. Unfortunately, while we no longer have ratings, we remain poor.
You can see more from Laughing Stock by visiting the video gallery at LaughingStock.us .
Music:
We could make a list of favorite artists, sure. But we prefer to be a bit more self-involved. There have been many great musical parodies at the Off Broadway Theatre over the years. We've also done some great musicals like "The Pirates of Penzance" and "Little Shop of Horrors." Plus, during the improv shows you never know when we'll break out in a song, like the classics "Damn!" and "Oh, Cananada."
Television:
We had our own TV show on KUWB-TV in 2005. They decided against renewing the show for a second season. Apparently, they decided that they could make more money showing infomercials than our show. We were getting great ratings, too. But they decided that we had no demographics. Hard to believe, you know, here in the real world. But true. Oh so sad and true.
Heroes:
We have many heroes. In fact, there are too many to mention here. Okay, Rob Bogue. We'll leave it at that and go on with our lives.
