About Me

I'm a student... I drink too much I don't work enough and I have no money. :-(

My Interests

Art: Cy Twombly, Georg Baseltiz, Louise Bourgeois, Robert Morris and Aleberto Giacommetti. Otherwise I'm into shopping :-) watching movies (any kind I don't have a favourite genre), cats, animals in general, Neighbours, Hollyoaks, rock music and snap-happy photographs.

I'd like to meet:

Marilyn Monroe (as a friend of Eve Arnolds, not just as a crazy fan), Anne Boleyn (to check out just how crazy she was), Gray Lightbody and Nathan Connelly from Snow Patrol and my grandmother whom I never met but she seemed pretty interesting.

Music:

I'm an enormous Snow Patrol fan (have been since before Run so I'm old school). Also am a big fan of Franz Ferdinand, Super Furry Animals, The Vines, Flogging Molly, Do Me Bad Things, Damien Rice (crying music), Allister, Everclear and Radiohead. My most recent obsession is with a little New York lady called Regina Spektor - a bit neurotic, think Norah Jones in a straight jacket. My favourite songs at the moment are Spitting Games (2001 slow version on the Run EP) by Snow Patrol, Carbon Monoxide by Regina Spektor and Time for Deliverance by Do Me Bad Things.

Movies:

I love so many different movies! Okay, here's my top ten... 10. Little Princess 9. Armageddon 8. Harry Potter movies 7. Matrix trilogy 6. Lord of the Rings trilogy 5. 101 Dalmations 4. Sliding Doors 3. Pulp Fiction 2. Breakfast at Tiffany's 1. Star Wars trilogy (geek-stick anybody?)

Television:

Hollyoaks and Neighbours! Also watch the news, the occasional bit of rubbish day time TV and the Simpsons.

Books:

Okay top ten books. 10. Charlie and the chocolate factory & Great glass elevator - Roald Dahl 9. Enigma - Robert Harris 8. Alice in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll 7. Beastly Beattitudes of Balthazar B - J.P. Donleavy 6. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 5. Edward Lear's Lymerics and Nonsense Poetry - Edward Lear 4. Fairy Tale of New York - J.P. Donleavy 3. Witches - Roald Dahl 2. Back Home - Michelle Magorian 1. Blonde - Joyce Carrol Oates

Heroes:

Eve Arnold (great photographer), Mrs Pankhurst (Suffragette movement), Logi Baird (TV), Mozart, Louise Bourgeois, Marilyn Monroe and anybody helping for the Tsunami relief and for Greenpeace and for the starving people in Africa and for the RSPCA and basically all people who work for the red cross and I could go on forever.
