The Guthrie Matthews Method was formed in August of 2005. In search of the perfect rhythm section, Guthrie Matthews found what he was looking for in Jesse Masone and Chris Dorr. The cohesiveness of the group was immediate and they are more than capable of playing virtually all styles of popular music. Their ability to begin a set with John Mayer or Johnny Cash and end with Metallica or Ozzy Osbourne keeps even the broadest range of listeners captivated.
