Me and My Group Da "Hot Spittaz" are currently converting to P.H.L.Y for our group name. P.H.L.Y. consists of K-wuan, Swagg, and Amp.K-wuan's BiographyK-wuan is and has always been a well anticipated rapper. Growing up K-wuan often wrote poetry, that was his way of trying to keep up with his idol the late great 2pac. From poetry K-wuan developed his own unique style of hip-hop/rap music. From 4th to 7th grade all of K-wuan's music had been wrote to air {meaning that he listened to nothing while writing it), so if someone asked him to rap a verse they never really no what to expect because when you write acapella many different concepts of a song can develop in your mind. 8th grade year K-wuan moved with his father to the South Suburban area near Chicago. There he attended Southwood Middle School in Country Club Hill's, IL. Upon arrival he felt that the school was not fit for him and that he knew everyone there would be "lame" except for him. Little did he know two students that he met at that school shared the same destiny as him. The second day of school Draysean Harper a.k.a Swagg asked K-wuan if he could rap out of the blue. K-wuan rapped for Swagg in the company of five other people. One of those people was Ishmael Borders a.k.a Amp. No longer than 3 or 4 weeks later the three of them formed a rap group name M.L.P. (major league pimps) but had to change it because it had already been occupied by a local group in Chicago. So for a while their group just went unkown. After six months of hardwork and struggle within their group Amp felt it was time to step their game up so he introduced Swagg and K-wuan to Chicago's ..1 music producer Mil-Tickit who was currently on tour with 50 Cent, Jay-z, and Ludacris. Mil-Tickit said he really liked their music and that he saw a lot of potential in the group and that we needed to work on a name, at the time their group had a song called "if u a hot spitta" so Mil-Tickit suggested that they do a spin off from that song and Call themselves the"Hot Spittaz". Everyone like the name and agreed to start their fanbase with the Hot Spittaz as their name. From 2003 until now they have been a strong group that receives love and respect anywhere they go. They have a nice buzz at the local high schools around the south suburbs. So for every Hot Spittaz fan as of yesterday July 11, 2006 they go by the Fly Boyz. Within the time spand of the group the Fly Boyz have completed two mixtapes with production by track kingz and features of the renegades, Arrogant, Teefa, Mil-Tickit, and Vudu. The Fly Boyz have opened up for Do or Die, Johnny P., Mil-Tickit, Feva, and American Idols own Fantasia. They are currently under the management of Track Kingz productions working on their debut album be looking for the soon because their be in the lime light as soon as time will allow them to be. Until then you know where to listen to their music. Peace.Information profiled by Zachary Hubbard.
