CFL – a rapper with attitude!! A rapper and a singer that can get it crunk!! A dude with heart!! CFL stands for (Christ for Life). Obviously not your ordinarily rapper, CFL is a gospel rapper. Wax Poetik and him make up a group called The Groundwork reppin Illustrate Records and Ministry. They move under God’s direction and they have a heart for the youth of today. CFL aka Glen Moore is originally from Chicago. Growing up with no father around, Glen quickly drew to the streets for acceptance. Maybe going to church once in a great while but no foundation or relationship with Christ. Glen started getting involved in gang and drug activity. Becoming a Muslim and getting caught up with gangs; Glen later moved to Milwaukee as a gang leader and was sent to start a branch here in the Mil. Seeing a bar on every corner, Glen realized this was his paradise. Getting deeper into drugs and alcohol, Glens life was spiraling downward towards destruction. After many years of being an addict, Glen ran into some troubles with the law. After serving 4 years in the penitentiary Glen Moore realized there had to be more to this life. After reclaiming his life for Christ, Glen surrounded himself with positive people, people who saw the talent and the potential in him, people who were serving Christ and living it. He then hooked up with Illustrate Records and vowed his life to serving Christ completely, thus the name CFL!!! Now Glen does not look back, using his gifts with singing, rapping and preaching for the Lord. He knows his testimony can reach others. Now traveling, doing ministry events and doing what he was called to do with his family by his side ---there is no sweeter thing.
