i grew up in a lil island called montserrat in the caribbean and thats where my passion for music started. i was fascinated by music and at concerts when everyone else was staring at the singers the musicians were the superstars for me. my father was a bass player but i loved the drums. Whenever i got a chance i would sneak on the drums and bang around. i grew up in the church so my first influence was gospel music and being brought in the caribbean i was surrounded by a lot of reggae, dancehall, calypso and soca.
its wasn't until i was ten when i moved to anguilla that i discovered a love for rap music. when i got introduced to black entertainment tv there was no turning back.
i first started playin the drums at the tender age of fourteen and from then i progressed to playin for my church. when i moved to high school i started playin for the school band and the school steel band. i relished the thrill of creatin something that could change people's mood from sad to happy, grumpy to joyful. thats when me and my friends got introduced to fruity loops and we started messin around and formed a little group call jlt. we recorded in my friend's dad 's radio station, but that was cut short wen i left at the age of 17 to come to england.
i got introduced as an excellent drummer by my cousin lenroy and i started playin for this church but it wasnt until i decided to do what i really loved and started studyin music technology at mbc college thats when i discovered professional software for music production. i immediately setup my lil production studio at home, got a name for my self and started producin my own beats. im open to ideas and always put the artist first because at the end of the day the artist is the one that's going to make the end product a success or a failure. i produce any type of beat and im always open to new ideas so if u want a beat or wanna holla at me email me at [email protected]..
