Dubz(formally DOUBLE U), originally from leicester formed the underground crew uptown posse,a collective of deejays and dancers in 1990.As a deejay Dubz tore it up on the midlands circuit playing venues and reppin his cuttin n mixing skills on kickin and fresh fm. After a year or so in london Dubz became an integral part of 4th kingdom,working with artists such as malarchi and shogun.At this point Dubz found a passion 4 producing and spitting and after 7 successfull years in london moved in the opposite direction 2 cornwall where he found a protege in Abbstract.Having completed numourous bedroom production projects the pair ventured 2 the west country where there influence encouraged the developement of artists such as Mackie Skillz and DBD.Aclaim 4 Dubz came in the form of a review in HHC 4 a track produced 4 Abbstract featuring emerging artists Rising Son and DJ Johnston.Now residing in Bristol, Dubz is back on the scene ready 2 make a noise!!
