About Me

I am, as ever, in transit.. and yet in essence remain me. :)
I am happy, sun-filled, light. I am movie freak, geek and uber dork :)
I am silly, shy, and I'm happy being me :)

In this intimate dark the dust lifts off from your hand, a cupped flower, the amber nectar resin like a drop of milk, a drop of honey. I'm sitting here and I can't think of anything to write. And yet the words do resemble some fragment of myself, some damp, clamped region I keep clenched between my teeth. I'm unwilling to let go, unwilling to cast that part of myself away. It's not yet time to release the dove hidden in my pocket. Its wings have yet to unfurl and strengthen and create words that cannot break. This is it--I see nothing but your smile.

Today the sky is a hazy summery blue. Dusty gray wash across the buildings, the white Dominion Towers building is ashy and pale in the late day light. It's my favorite time of day. I was just thinking...
