Influences: One of these days I'll get some actual music of mine up on this blasted thing. Middle Eastern culture, an attachment to minor, discordant sounds (you know, the one's that pull on your heart strings in a sad/sweet kind of way). Big city hustle and bustle- especially on rainy, taxi-taking days. The smell of lumpy cream of wheat with too much honey. Daffodils. Airplanes (little ones perferably). flying dreams. Joni Mitchell. Aloe vera gel. wheather-worn beach houses with peeling blue paint and oddly shapped colored glass strewn around a sandy, unkept yard cupping over-dried dimensions of drift wood between families of parched and hearty sea grass. The shape and smell of leaves. The word fuck. Stinging honesty. All those wonderful, awkward, vulnerable moments that demand a heart to stretch in small, painful increments.Cat power.
