What can I say??? I am Superwoman! I do too much and am damn good at it which makes it all the harder to give it up:) Just ask Drew:)
I live life to the fullest and that bites me in the butt fairly frequently. I have a Bachelor's degree in secondary ed and have taught junior high, high school, and currently college. I HATE teaching junior high. I love teaching college; and now teaching online...the best. I don't even have to get dressed up! Woo Hoo! Fuzzy bunny slippers and a cup of hot chocolate:) Doesn't get much better than that. I have started my own school; yes from scratch. Why I am not running it is a long story and filled with more drama than necessary and would involve me swearing at various people at a certain charter school company that for now will remain nameless.... I also have a master's degree in distance education and adult learning styles which I am happy to report I am finally puttin to good use. Currently I am raising a soldier, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a dragon.
My daughter and I love to dance. I am taking Tahitian currently and its like bellydance but faster. I have been bellydancing for several years now and I absolutely love it...almost to the point of obsession sometimes. I travel around to various workshops and perform whenever I can which is getting to be quite often now so hehehe I get to be picky in where I perform. The Dominican Republic is still one of my favorites and the LACASA hafla for peace with the Mystics was the most moving thing I have ever been to. I love Egyptian Cabaret style but am currently dabbling in some American tribal style and Bollywood. I teach bellydance for fitness in Delta and Maumee. Come out and join us Ladies...sorry no guys allowed:) Abby loves to shake her hippies with me which is hilarious but I have her in jazz and tap currently. She did an excellent Lilo and Stitch Hawaiian Roller Coaster with me the other day so she might get to dance with us at the recital if she keeps practicing...My boys are into video games (We are Guitar Heros!) and they can beat every Halo and Star wars game in about an hour flat. Its kinda sick really, Riley wrestles, plays soccer is in Destination Imagination, and wants to play football. Andrew is in Destination Imagination and soccer, oh and science club. I keep pretty busy between soccer, wrestling, DI, and Abby's and my dance classes...and I work and my house is almost always clean and I run about a mile or 3 each morning weather permitting..hehehe. When the weather is not good for it, I just dance everyday...at least once. I guess that is about it. I married GI Joe and he is my best friend and biggest fan:)
