I love JOSH POLLEY!!
Create your own Friend Quiz here Lets see....a little about me. To start with, I married the most amazing man in the world on September 7th, love you Josh! I was in the Army (aviation) for about 5 years and deployed to Iraq on 2 separate occasions. I believe that the only people who should have an opinion about the soldiers over there and what we are doing over there are the men and women who are currently there or have been there, otherwise keep you mouth shut until you grow enough balls to do it yourself! I miss some parts of the Army alot, but on the same note, there are things I am glad I am rid of!! I have been having trouble figuring out myself since then, when you are no longer an active duty soldier, its like you lose a part of yourself. Those of you who know me well, know that I tend to be a bit forward and sometimes too honest. I would say opinionated and occasionally some say I come off as bitchy, but once again if you know me, you know when its intentional. I can NOT stand people who say they hate fake people then turn around and are you guessed it, fake. Lets put it this way, if you have something to say to me, say it to me and not joe, bob, sue or sara...get it? But thats just me and if you don't like it BUH BYE!I met my husband "officially" on Christmas Eve 2003. He basically stalked me! He was trying to get my attention, more than I even knew (hunny pulling me over got the wrong attention :) I love you tho... hes an MP) We basically hit it off right away, I was what he wanted and he was what I wanted. He proposed to me that Feb (no not an v-day) and we got married when he was on his R&R from Iraq. September 7th 2004. We plan on hiving kids when wee in our 30's (hey 38 is the new 28!!) Because of the army and deployments we haven't had time to be a young married couple, which we both want and think we deserve. Josh left for Afghanistan on valentines day, and unfortunately I can not be too pissed about it because we both raised that right hand and then said " I DO " so we knew what we were in for, it still sucks though and doesn't make it right that some families are put through more in the military than others (meaning some people still haven't deployed)! We found out recently that his tour got extended, but all I can do is smile and support my husband. He is not my troop he is not my soldier... he is my husband. We do have "kids" though. We have a 12 year old cat...Princess, she is a runt so she still looks like a kitten. We also have Tucker (our mini Schnauzer), he will be 2 in June. Those are our kids, they don't think they are pets. I have a new found love for Corona... I would not try it...Josh didn't drink it often (even though it is his fave beer) because the smell of it is disgusting!! Well I promised him I would try it, and I did and it is GOOD!! Tastes better than bud light!! So me and Josh are a corona family (and Patron!) :) We decided it would be in our best interest to stay in Savannah area for a few years after he gets out, it just makes sense seeming we already own a house here.Any questions, just ask! The time in Afghanistan...is below
