C’mon 'n try this ride, it’s gonna shrink your brain!

About Me

I'm a writer, a father, computer geek, freakishly energetic, genuinely excited about most things (except the ones which suck, not excited about those), honest, interesting, an American original, trying to be humble. The best thing I can say about myself is that pets and children always dig me. Pets and kids know who has "it" and who doesn't. Thank God I got "it", yo! Mothers generally find me charming. Fathers don't want me dating the daughter. Daughters sometimes find me irresistable. Brothers find out I have freakish gaming skilz. There's something for the whole family here, hahaha. I have big dreams and I pursue them diligently, but admit that I get distracted by fun stuff. I love to work, do my best, laugh out loud and live like it means something. I don't question why I'm here, just trying to get the job done in the time I've been allotted.

My Interests

Shucks, do I really have to write them all down? How about I speak in general terms. I am interested in words, supple curves, water, music, the way light reflects off skin, photography, laughter, eyes, having a deep emotional connection with my life and people that care.

I'd like to meet:

There is not a short life or a long life. There is only the life that you have, and the life you have is the life you are given, the life you work with. It has its own shape, describes its own arc, and is perfect. -- Greek saying. If you have any idea what that quotes means, I'd like to meet you so you can explain it to me, cuz frankly I have no clue, hahaha

Music:

I like it all, from classical to rap to house to trance to rock to jazz to mariachi to african to indian to chinese. It's easier to tell you what I don't like. I don't like music that sucks, and by that I mean music that is poorly played or lazily conceived. If it's a music that can move me, then I like it. It's pretty simple. When the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, then we groovin'. The hairs do all the deciding.

Movies:

(Off the top of my head, not ordered) Y Tu Mama Tambien, Wild At Heart, Donnie Darko, Animal House, Blue Velvet, It's All Gone Pete Tong, Airplane, Enter the Dragon, Wings of Desire, Harry Potter, Transformers, Appleseed, Lord of the Rings, Chinatown, Ghost in the Shell, Shaolin Soccer, Old School, At Play in the Fields of the Lord, Lord of the Flies, Mosquito Coast, Pulp Fiction, Citizen Cane, Casablanca, Midnight Cowboy, The Usual Suspects, The Blair Witch, Rocky, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, The Empire Strikes Back, Revenge of the Sith, Spiderman, The Secret of Roan Inish, City of God, Mouth to Mouth, Run Lola Run, Il Postino, The Last Temptation of Christ, Mad Max, The Terminator, Raise the Red Lantern, Memoirs of a Geisha... I could go on forever since movies are my thing.

Television:
