I grew up in a small town in Nebraska called Indianola, population only around 640 (probably less now). I have two younger siblings, my brother Jeff and my sister Heidi . I attended a small school called Republican Valley (now called Southwest). I graduated high school in 1995. There where only 26 people in my graduating class.
I then joined the Air Force . I joined in order to get out of that dead-end little town. If I didn’t, I knew I would be stuck there forever. I wanted to see the world, and the Air Force was my free ticket. I also joined because I could get free training in a carrier field that I could use in the civilian world. My carrier field is Nondestructive Inspection (NDI). For the most part I enjoyed the Air Force. But after 10 years I started to get tired of the military lifestyle. So in 2006, I separated from active duty, and went into the Air Force Reserve. I got a civilian job with CSC/NASA in El Paso, Texas. At NASA my primary duty is NDI, but I perfom other tasks such as aircraft painting, and general aircraft mechanic work.
I met my wife, Diana on Myspace. She is from Juarez, Mexico. We got married on February 16th, 2007. She is the love of my life. I look forward to spending a wonderful life with her.
