The Dead Certs

About Me

THE DEAD CERTS PLAYED THEIR VERY LAST GIG ON 19TH DEC 08. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE THEM SUPPORT DURING THEIR TIME TOGETHER, IT WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The lads still remain friends and im sure they will be going onto new musical ventures in the future.

The Dead Certs are 5 lads from Leeds. The band play with a passion, they have a raw sound and play with a lot of heart. With catchy guitar riffs, witty lyrics and the charm of frontman Craig Swallow, we are The Dead Certs.

The band have been together just a year and they are turning heads in the north with their energetic live shows. The band have already shared stages with the UK's hottest talent in 2008.

After an amazing first year, The Dead Certs show no signs of easing up. Building on their expanding fanbase, writing more tracks, they will more than likely be playing a town near you soon.

Sounds Like: THE DEAD CERTS- Leeds band with a cheeky Arctic Monks Northern barrow boy feel, all Libertines guitars and a feeling of rough edged bonhomie. Pretty charming as exemplified by lofi punk numbers such as 'She'll love you tonight'...'Have it your way' is like The Kooks via Television Personalities......

Type of Label: Major
