Hiphop/reggae band 2NFRO, which includes three Tilburg and four Eindhoven musicians, is coming on remarkably in the Dutch club and festival scene. It made the line-up at the latest editions of famous national festivals such as “Mundial†in Tilburg, “Paaspop†in Schijndel and W2 in Den Bosch. In May 2006, 2NFRO was the second runner-up at the Benelux finals of the international Emergenza music festival. Last but not least: 2NFRO was worldfinalist of the international music contest Diesel-U-Music in the category Urban and went to the worldfinals in London(UK)

All of the members' different musical backgrounds (from music and rock academies to jazz combos and disco bands) are clearly audible. 2NFRO's sound is moving from and jumping to a whole lot of different directions: reggae and hiphop, but also funk, soul, jazz, latin and dance. Funked up Urban Reggae Vibes, the band itself calls it.
These vibes especially stand out well when brought live. Party on stage, so said Dutch e-zine CultuurPodium after 2NFROs show at the Emergenza finals. This Tilburg/Eindhoven hiphop band is capable of winning over an audience and creating a nice atmosphere from the first tones it plays, the review read. The crowd loves its mix of hiphop, reggae, soul, funk, rock and jazz, and theres a lot of dancing and jumping. A likely winner, as far as I am concerned.
[~ to and fro ] Back and forth, as in He was like a caged animal, pacing to and fro. Strictly speaking, to means "toward" and fro "away from", but this idiom is used more vaguely in the sense of "moving alternately in different directions". [First half of 1300s]
