About Me

I have finally completed my BA from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I went to school for Leisure Youth and Human Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and I recieved two minors which are Dance and Criminology. I am currently in St. Louis, MO where I have found a job working in a children and adolescent group home. My future plans are to work within the prison system helping transistion inmates back out into the community through showing them a possibility of a better quality of life using positive and optimistic motivation and training. I love to work with people who are in need...be it an individual with a disability or an individual who is just in need of a little inspiration. I am fun person to be around and always the optimistic one !

I'm always up to meeting new people. I enjoy having friends with any and all personalities, backgrounds, cultures, beliefs. I have a passion for learning differences within people...DIVERSITY! I would like to meet anyone who is just interested in meeting me.

Movies:

TROY and The Passion would probably have to be my top 2! But on the less serious side I am a sucker for ROMANTIC COMEDIES (Brownsugar, Diaries of a Mad Black Woman, Rumor Has It, etc.)

Television:

I always seem to be watching whatever is on MTV for some strange reason. I am addicted to Project Runway and TLC's What Not To Wear. That's when I have time to watch TV though! There is enough drama in my life to watch drama on television I guess.

Books:

Tuesdays with Morrie!!! (Great Book) Books written by Nicholas Spark are always good too. And of course the most important book of all The Holy Bible.

Heroes:

The one and only "JC" himself! If it wasn't for him I would not be here!
