About Me

Hey, whats up? I'm Troy. I'm in my mid-20's. I'm Irish-Gypsy/Romanian. I mostly only use this site to talk to a select few. Actually, just you two lovely ladies. I love to read and am a huge music and sports guy. I also totally geek-out for comic books. I have thousands upon thousands of them. What's not to love? It's the best of both worlds, great art and storytelling. That strange looking fellar below is my brother Jeremy. I work a shit job at what to me is the most depressing kind of store, a grocery store. But that's just until I can acquire my personal trainers license. I'm very simple, boring and complicated (though some will argue this). It's not really up to me to describe myself. That's for those who know me to do, cause I'm biased. Stacy calls me a narcissus, in jest of course. I try to give everyone at least one chance. Even if they don't return the favor, which is my biggest vice with people.

My Interests

reading, music, sleeping, trying to sleep, relaxing, comic books, concerts, the occasional video game, ancient history, weight lifting (not doing it at the moment though), baseball (Cubbies!), other sports to a lesser extent.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who still has a sense of wonder.

Music:

Egypt Central, Dredg, Interpol, Spineshank, 30 Seconds to Mars, Project 86, Thrice, 10 Years, Finch, Madhops, Coheed and Cambria, Angels and Airwaves, Taproot, Brand New, Disturbed, Fear Factory, Deftones, Incubus, Life of Agony (Early), Staind (Early), Tool, Lost Prophets, Jimmy Eat World, Mudvayne, Muse, Saosin, Evans Blue, Silversun Pickups, Fair To Midland, Atreyu, Rise Against. I'm sure there's a bunch of others that I'm forgetting.

Movies:

I'll enjoy anything that tells a good story, no matter the production quality. I'll even watch the foreign films. There isn't a movie out there that relaxes me as much as my favorite movie, The Legend of 1900. Great story, acting and music. 'Nuff Said.

Television:

Some. Very little actually. TV sux balls. Would rather read or listen to my music.

Books:

Some of my favorites: The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Tales of the Otori series by Lian Hearn, American Gods, Anansi Boys and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Last Light of the Sun and Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay, Baltimore the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden, Kurt Vonnegut, The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry. There's about a hundred other books I want to read.Currently Reading: Confessions of a Pagan Nun by Kate Horsley.

Heroes:

Past: "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. Simpler times was childhood. Present: Is there anyone out there worth my unquestionable loyalty? Future: Now that's the question...! I fear we're gonna need lots of heroes. Ragnorak mother f-ckers!!!
