I'll enjoy anything that tells a good story, no matter the production quality. I'll even watch the foreign films. There isn't a movie out there that relaxes me as much as my favorite movie, The Legend of 1900. Great story, acting and music. 'Nuff Said.

Some of my favorites: The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Tales of the Otori series by Lian Hearn, American Gods, Anansi Boys and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Last Light of the Sun and Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay, Baltimore the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden, Kurt Vonnegut, The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry.
