About Me

Yellow Peril are Junk-Pop band, who formed in Tokyo, during winter 2003.

The band were originally comprised of Koki Takahashi (Vo), Hirosuke Ichino (Gt), and Isao Seki(Dr) who joined on 2008.
Past members include Anton Tarjin, Yuji Sekiguchi, who are soon joined from its inception until 2006 and on occation joined by Yuta Ishii on 2008.
Yellow Peril made their first three EPs until the autumn 2006, "Yellow Peril"(2005/8), "Punctum"(2006/3),"3rd EP"(2006/9).
Following the lost of two founding members after recording their 3rd EP, Yellow Peril changes their style with their incorporation of avant-garde, contemporary dance, light acts, and play, etc.
These experimental style remind them the origin and it naturally heads them for the simple style. They made their 4th EP "Night Husk"(2008/6) with just one guitar and voice.
Yellow Peril finished its first tour of the United States in June of 2008.

Yellow Peril is The JUNK POP music. It is the new kind of music to slough off a unified and formatted music which is built by '90s giant music industry. We appreciate something thought of a thing of little worth. We pick it up to rebuild it.

2009年5月に制作したDemoではスプーンや空き缶 、時計やメトロノームなどのガラクタ音、足 音や話声、踏切の音等入ってしまった音も含 め音楽として編集して作品にしてしまう。

We're just back from the great tour of U.S. At Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, we could experience the first show in the U.S. with big success. I'm really glad if people enjoyed our show. This club ...
