About Me

A daywalker with ADD, an explorer of tangents, collector of knowledge that has no home (and often no purpose), easily fascinated, always interested, a traveler who always sleeps better on a couch that is not his, highly observant, a kinetic philosopher, a shoulder to cry on who wont waste your time and will collect your tears to remind you later of how far you've come. A lover of technology, an active artist and sometimes an artistic activist, an inner child living on the outside, a basic urban element, a lover of God, an eater of color, speaks in metaphor, acts in real time, always changing, giver of my most treasured things, and lover of your heart. Oh, and short.

My Interests

Meeting new people and loving the old. All forms and all mediums of art. Specifically, Spoken word, poetry with purpose, writting, photography, and all things collaborative. Music that comes from the heart. Learning about anything and everything that I dont underdstand and listening to other perspectives. Knowledge that begats wisdom and wisdom that begats love, and conversations with my inner child.

I’ll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Misspent days will bring their repercussions. I have been reaping mine in the form of my body, mind, and spirit failing me for the last two months. I have been so sick and have not taken care of my ...

Running through puddles, chasing regret... And keeping up.

The plot thickens as a pool of blood on a cold winter day. But it is the blood of life. My wonderlustful mind drips peptides and dopamine, seratonin and grunts and moans into a postmordial soup of d...

Lying to oneself puts ones own purpose on the shelf. Shelving shells of possibility put to the ear to hear echoes of maybes and what could have beens, Ben lingers with his fingers feeling the ceiling...

Ben Lingers (2 of ?)

Bungled, crumbled up plans lay poured on the floor dying. Hopes smeared across the windowpane like the hot breath of a child seeing his parents drive off into the fog of abandonment. Feathers fall t...

You are a verb.

Why do you compose symphonic harmonics into this dusty old sax?Why do you walk in with those 88 keys smiling at me every 5th movement you make? Why do you wear those staccato heels and then walk with...

So I met a soul tonight who blind sided me. And I needed it. I did the usual evening. I breezed into the common market, unsettleingly aware of my own uncommon wind. The one thats been blowing from m...

Beauty is in my third eye... Or, jarred awake.
