I'm not religious, but I love the term 'catholic taste' and am motivated by it. Whether it's high art or low trash, if it's good, I like it; if it's bad, it had better be spectacularly bad. As long as it's worth seeking out and talking about, I'm there. I will never call a documentary a 'doc', a film a 'flick' or a good time 'a hoot'... unless I'm trying to get a rise out of you.
