I love my life :) Even more so these days...I am a publicist that just relocated from the Big Apple to the City of Angels and am having a love affair with LA at the moment. I just love being here and find that I am ridiculously happy all the time and can't seem to wipe the smile off my face...my worst day in LA is still better than my best day in NYC. Although I am a resident of Los Angeles now, I will always be a New York City girl at heart. (That NYC mentality helps when working in LA!!) I work extremely hard - and I play hard. I am quite the dichotomy - two extremes. I am either always on the go or just laid out on my couch. Finding the right balance is key. I am always looking for ways to grow as a person and am never satisfied with where I am in life - I think complacency is the death of a person. There's always more to learn, achieve, and ways to take it to the next level professionally and personally.Although I am in the entertainment industry, at the end of the day, it's just a job and certainly doesn't define me. I am extremely grounded and know who I am as a person and I definitely do not get caught up in the BS this industry is known for.I am drawn to spiritual people as I am a perfect mix of western and eastern philosophies. At the end of the day, knowing I always try to make the choices to be the best person I can be lets me sleep quite soundly at night. Being cognizant of other people's needs and feelings where mine come second is a downfall sometimes - but no matter what, perhaps I selfishly do it make me feel good about myself. :) Either way, knowing I can make someone's day better is reward enough.I believe in karma - what goes around comes around - 'nuff said. I have a high standard of values and morals, and expect that from everyone around me. I believe there is a power out there that is greater than all of us - and trust that our fate is pre-destined. Belief is everything - as the old adage goes - stand for something or you'll fall for anything.I have a certain "joie de vivre" - life is definitely to be enjoyed. I definitely work to live (although many of my friends will tell you I live to work!!! :) Maybe....I do love what I do. I am passionate about everything I do hence I live hard...and I love hard.I'm extremely spontaneous - almost to a fault. (I've definitely been known to buy a one way ticket to some destination that same day just because I've felt like it)...I say spontaneous, my friends say indecisive - you judge! :)Through it all - the good, the bad, the ugly, I live life without regret as it's about the journey - and not about the destination. All those moments are what make me who I am today...and I'm good with that. I know it sounds profound but TRUST that it took a long time (and lots of meditation!!) to FINALLY have a moment of clarity to feel that way.Achieving peace within myself is the most gratifying thing in the world - not wealth or other accolades.
