After passing high school with exemption, with all higher grade subjects, Andrew went on to study at the University of South Africa; obtaining a degree with majors in psychology and information systems, as well as criminology and computer science. Along the way obtaining an IT diploma, and countless certificates in psychology, IT and policing (both theory and tactical). He has been doing volunteer work since leaving school on various police units, as well as in the community. The acting career started soon after, launching with a few television commercials, and leading to motion pictures and stills. Andrew has completed many acting courses, for film, television, presenting, voice, accents, as well as several advanced courses available on invitation and audition only. Theater followed as part of a showcase in preparation for a LAMDA qualification. The LAMDA gold medal exam was passed with merit by Andrew and partner obtaining the highest marks out of the class.
