Dream. Obtain your dreams, but don't hurt anyone along the way.I love dancing! Any type of dancing. I started with European folkloric and Middle Eastern dances. The rhythms, melodies, movements, and styles are completely fascinating to me. I have traveled over seas a little and sought out ethnic dances and the people who perform or dance for their own pleasure. The results have been wonderful and I have connections with many friends.My latest dance pursuit is the many different styles of swing: lindy hop, balboa, collegiate shag, and more... All of these dances are within the genre of jazz music and dance. The main attraction to these dances and the music is that they have parameters not boundaries. The feedom to incorporate a myriad of movements and techniques within the parameters of jazz is unique and expressive. I just attended Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden and it was unquantifiably the best lindy hop dance camp in my life's experience. I'm off to Swing Out New Hamshire next.I invite you to join me on the dance floor.
