Annaya The Poet

Annaya's story is one of triumph over struggle. Having defeated life threatening breast cancer, she has harnessed the courage, strength and determination needed to overcome an obstacle of this magnitude. Sharing her story thru poetry, writing and speaking, Annaya shines as a beacon of HOPE for millions of people around the world. She is an amazing leader, teacher and friend and no where can you find a more humble and beautiful soul!That's what my producers think of me but here's what I think of me: My plight has been difficult, challenging and trying. I've cried, laughed and been on the verge of defeat...sometimes wanting to crawl in a hole and die! Yet, still I kept holding on! Heart break, financial dispair, physical abuse! But thru all of that---I still kept holding on. Still standing! Still moving! Still striving! And when you listen to my poems (all topics from lust to God), just know that every one was inspired by something happening in my life at that time. I still believe in true LOVE and that thru GOD all things are possible! My mission and purpose is to give hope in a hopeless world!
