I Walk the Line

About Me

Easy going and down to earth. Grew up in the Midwest in a close family. Wouldn't trade my childhood for anything. Work hard, but at the same time I make time to hang out with my friends (which is very important to me). Love just catching up with friends over a cold beer at a bbq, friend's house or at a good dive bar shooting pool.

My Interests

Golfing, playing hockey, playing pool, music (played the violin), basketball, being lazy and not feeling guilty about it, fishing, swimming, hanging out with my friends, being a nut...

I'd like to meet:

Looking for someone who's independent, spirited and fun to be around. Someone who won't mind getting into a good discussion about politics, sports, movies, etc. Someone who's just as comfortable dressing up for something formal as they are in jeans and a t-shirt. Down to earth is the best way I can describe the people with whom I get along best.

Music:

Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Allman Bros., Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Dave Brubeck Quartet, Benny Carter, John Coltrane, Roy Hargrove, Mozart, Bruch, Carl Orff, Buckethead, Prince, The Jayhawks, Borrowers, etc.... love'em all!

Movies:

Casablanca, Rudy, Die Hard, All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), Trading Places, Bottle Rocket, Braveheart, Amadeus, Blues Brothers, Night of the Living Dead, Psycho, Iron Monkey, Only Angels Have Wings, The Champ, Out of the Past, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (anything by Frank Capra), Annie Hall, Raging Bull, Five Easy Pieces, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dumb & Dumber, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Terminator, Caddyshack, Sahara!, Bringing up Baby... Could go on and on... love'em all!

Books:

Anything by John Fante (Ask the Dusk, Road to Los Angeles, Dreams from Bunker Hill), Steinbeck, Knut Hamsun (nothing beats the book Hunger), Piers Anthony, Kingsley Amis, Joyce, Stephen King, Terry Brooks, Peter Stevens, etc.... love'em all!
