About Me

I don't really hang around here any more. Head over to www.myspace.com/pullyourselftogethermcr to see what I'm really up to!
OK, I'll have a bash at this. One summer day in 1985 a small drop in the ocean of the world was created, and lo, it was Daniel James. Since his early days of eating berries that tried to kill him, Dan set out on a journey. A journey to achieve something. Well, that seems a little dramatic, but I was always a kid doing things. I think my main one was making silly little magazines and stuff.
Snap forwards to now, and I am still making silly little magazines, though now I only eat things that agree with my insides. Apart from the odd Chip Nan of course. At the grand old age of 22 I am now a graduate (eek, that is quite scary) and looking for a way in the world once more. I would love to find a way into the music industry, as listening to and watching great music is my main passion. However at the moment the best I can muster is ticket monkeying for Man City. Who I don't even support.
However, that said I'm doing some really cool stuff at the moment too. That there PopCult is great fun, and we've done some ace stuff. In January we put a CD out, which Steve Lamacq made his record of the week. He said hello to me on the radio. Steve Lamacq. Ace ace ace.
I have just got myself a blog to publish my new writings. Head to http://inatownsosmall.wordpress.comxxxI'm also well behind the Chicken Out campaign. Get involved...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who would like to give me a good job which I would care about. I already have some incredible friends, so with no offence that really isn't the reason that I am here. I'm not sure I buy into the idea of writing down a list of people, living or dead, who you would want to meet. Surely something like that is suggesting that you would care more about spending time with them, for example your 'idol' than the friends and family who make you who you are. Could just be me.
